With winter festivities behind us and some early signs of spring, the flowers in our garden blooming, we eased back into our dismantle efforts. Focusing our attention on the rear living space in our legend.

Under the bench seating we removed the leisure battery that powered our water pump and cabin lighting, however only installed post 1977 for our family adventures.

The carpeting, now very much moldy and rotten, was peeled off of the floor and the sides of the bench and below the kitchen cabinets.

Then for a quick before and after reveal, we dismantled the kitchen cabinets and the remaining paneling to uncover  the insulating foam, which we tore away from the dried glue to show the cream and blue metal work.

Just as soon as we started, summer saw us pausing once again for various travel plans.
